Refined Bleached Deodorised (RBD) Palm Olein is the liquid fraction obtained by fractionation of palm oil. It is a RBD form of palm oil which is extracted after crushing palm fruit. The process of palm olein is obtained from fractionating refined palm oil to separate liquid part (olein) from solid part (stearin). It is used as cooking oil, as well as frying oil for food industries for snacks and ready-to-eat food. It is also used as a raw material for margarine and shortening. The product is currently marketed to South Asia, Middle East, and Africa.
Vegetable ghee is made from mixture of good quality palm stearin and palm oil together with permitted colour, antioxidant, emulsifier and butter flavouring. It is a light yellow liquid and semi-solid at room temperature, melting to a clear yellow liquid on slight heating. Butter ghee is a type of clarified butter that is prepared by boiling the butter and removing its residue. Ghee is originated from India and widely used in South Asian cuisine and ritual.
Milk powder and dairy products have a continuous demand as it is considered a necessity for healthy food. As one of the source of healthy food, milk powder and dairy products generate higher contribution margin than vegetable cooking oil. We shall concentrate more of our business development and marketing activities in achieving a steady organic revenue growth in dairy products.
